This website and every event that has been documented, mirror the insight of the makers into various issues pervading Indian society. Infact has looked at HIV/AIDS, its spread and consequences on a developing society; impact of globalization; consequences of iron ore mining and its export to China; child labor; tribals in Karnataka; people's movement against a coal based thermal plant; information technology; and many other socially relevant issues.

The character of Infact has come from nearly two decades of finding expression in television journalism by Maya Jaideep, an empathic narrator; in consultation with K. G. Vasuki, another veteran in the field of visual communication with plenty of experience at ground level. The transition from television journalism to documentaries is more akin to the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Infact's endeavor has always been to define, analyze and record issues which are important links in society. These documentaries are a commitment and self-explanatory.
